In 2020, the design bureau of the Oryol machine-building plant PROKHIM took up another non-standard task: the main manufacturer of nuclear icebreakers, JSC Baltic Plant, required special equipment for processing one of the layers of technical substance, the purity of which is subject to increased requirements.
The working substance is a finely dispersed material with a high density, which required non-standard solutions both in the area of the main bearing and driving elements of the machine, and in the external and internal units responsible for the cleaning process itself.
In just a few weeks, the equipment was designed, manufactured, tested and shipped to Baltiysky Zavod.
